Gaston Guez never mentioned any brothers or sisters. He originally lived in Canada and worked as a reporter for a Toronto newspaper. They sent him to St. Louis, Missouri to cover the 1901 Exposition when he was only 16 years old. Later he studied at Toronto University before coming to America and settling in Boston around 1905. He opened an office and spent most of his life there working as a consulting psychologist, although he also taught French at Boston University during World War Two.
